Care Planning
Careful consideration is taken when planning the care and well-being for our residents. Care planning begins with an initial care plan prior to new resident’s arrival, where we can effectively put a care plan in place that is most suitable and beneficial to your needs. To ensure we are providing the most sufficient care as possible, our health professionals are there when planning your care, whether that being your diet, personal requirements or over all well-being.
All of the residents at Doddington Lodge are actively encouraged to have a VOICE when putting in place the initial care plan, if anything is subject to change or if you have any requests there will always be a discussion and you will be informed and consulted if and when a change has been put in place in consideration to your health.
The Doddington Lodge team are professionally qualified with extensive knowledge when it comes to medication. Our quality compliance system ensures policy and procedures are followed in accordance to legislation and to support safe administration, storage and disposal of medication. It is important that we discuss medication with the residents, current GP and family member so we can access to the needs of our residents in detail to provide a plan that is best practice for your on-going care and well-being.
A copy of the Care Plan is always available to yourself and/or family/friend (with the resident’s consent).
